While watching this film, I found it to be very personal and intimate. It felt like I was actually there. The camera was shaky and noticeably handheld; people would look into the camera — it felt really authentic. Seeing all the different places in the world was really refreshing. It was a very powerful reminder of how beautiful different cultures are and how each person is different from one another as well as how we each have our own story and life. I really enjoyed the many different camera angles that were used, and I can definitely appreciate the creativity behind the shots. It was entertaining to watch, and was undoubtedly one of the more unique films I have ever seen. I think the people that were filmed were very diverse and I loved that, and being able to understand some small slivers of their lives was super interesting. This film was great to start on and I am excited to see what the future holds for this class.
